BMW M3 GTR (NFS Most Wanted) – 1:24 Scale


The legendary BMW M3 GTR from Need for Speed: Most Wanted is finally here in papercraft form. The original model was designed by Paper Replika in 1:16 scale, but this version was carefully converted into 1:24 scale for a more collector-friendly size. I also modified the livery to give it a slightly darker appearance while keeping the iconic blue and white Most Wanted style alive.

To make the build stand out from other creators, I added a custom interior using parts from the 180SX interior by Stone Designs. It did not fit perfectly, but the final result still gave the model a much better atmosphere and presence. I also created my own custom roll cage, since the tutorial for it was not very enjoyable to follow.

This model was built using 70–80gsm office paper. At first, I expected the interior to make the build difficult on such thin paper, but surprisingly it turned out to be much easier than expected. An experienced paper car collector can build this model comfortably without too much trouble. The entire project took me around 2 days, although some of that time was definitely lost scrolling reels instead of building 😭🔥

📖 About the Car

The BMW M3 GTR became one of the most iconic racing cars in gaming history after appearing in Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005). Its aggressive body kit, signature blue-and-white livery, and legendary V8 sound made it unforgettable for an entire generation of racing fans. Even today, the M3 GTR remains one of the most recognizable cars in the Need for Speed franchise, making it a perfect choice for papercraft collectors and NFS enthusiasts.

🧠 Small Note

I am not claiming that these patterns were made by me or that I am the original creator of the template. The base model was created by Paper Replika, and there are already many tutorials for this same car that are much better than mine.

My goal with this project was simply to make the build feel more unique by adding an interior and custom roll cage to help it stand out a little from other versions online. Honestly, I never expected such a simple papercraft model with an interior to give this much extra aura and realism to the car — and I think that ended up being one of the best decisions for this build.
